Dear Meadow Wood Residents.
Spring is here and we are looking forward to the upcoming park and pool season. The Meadow Wood Recreation Club was established in 1967 as a nonprofit corporation with the purpose to operate recreational facilities in the Meadow Wood development. The swimming pool opened in 1970 with a diving board in the deep end and a competitive swim team.
This year in March we held a community wide meeting. We welcome new board and committee members and appreciate individuals volunteering. A dues increase was passed and many new ideas discussed to help increase membership.
Please consider joining the Association to help keep Meadow Wood Park a sustainable asset in the future. It provides opportunities to meet neighbors and enjoy the outdoors. Your park dues provide the funds for insurance, property taxes, and maintenance of this unique community treasure. For those interested in joining the pool for the first time, please contact Eileen Parker at (440)669-8222 for a day pass so you can enjoy the pool experience.
